District 3 to charge admission for cross country championships

District 3 will charge admission for its cross country championships starting in fall 2017.

The district made the announcement Wednesday on its website, citing costs as the reason for enacting an admission fee.

Vehicles with a single occupant will be charged $5, and vehicles with multiple passengers will be charged $10.

The 2017 cross country championships will be Oct. 28 at Big Spring High School in Newville.
