8 YAIAA volleyball players earn all-district nods


Eight YAIAA players earned first-team all-District 3 honors from the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association.

Northeastern and York Suburban players filled six of the eight spots on the first-team Class AA roster.

Northeastern senior outside hitter Reese Devilbiss, senior middle hitter Jeff Reynolds, junior middle hitter Dakoda Hoffman and senior setter Matt Schaeffer earned firs-team nods, along with York Suburban senior setter Kaleb Ansell and junior middle hitter Jack Schultz.

In Class AAA, senior outside hitters Dillon Hildebrand of Red Lion and Hayden Wagner of Central York were named to the first team.

Three YAIAA players earned second-team nods in Class AAA: Red Lion sophomore outside hitter Cole Brillhart, Central York junior setter Carter Luckenbaugh and Dallastown senior outside hitter Aaron Ward.

Four others were named to the Class AA second team: Northeastern seniors Brandon Arentz, an outside hitter, and Chris Lee, a libero; Susquehannock senior outside hitter Quinlan Kauffman; and York Suburban outside hitter Sepehr Vakili.

Additionally, Red Land junior outside hitters Chris Walters and Jake Radic earned second-team honors in Class AA.
