Littlestown, Dallastown dominate YAIAA doubles

One Dallastown team dominated the other in the YAIAA Class 3A doubles tennis finals.
Holden Koons and Hunter Jones ripped through the Class 3A side of the league tournament to capture the title Tuesday at South Western.
Koons, the two-time singles champ, combined with Jones to defeat teammates Tyler Lilie and Logan Maddox, 6-0, 6-1.
Earlier, Koons and Jones reached the finals by blanking Northeastern's Erich Nagel and Alec Schroter, 6-0, 6-0. The other semifinal featured Lilie and Maddox defeating Red Lion's Alec Shue and Riley Krout, 6-4, 1-6, 6-3.
In the Class 2A title match, Littlestown's Noah DeCampo and Brett Gill won the title against York Suburban's Tyr Abendschoen and Dan Lee, 6-4, 6-4.
In the semifinals, Gill and DeCampo defeated Bermudian Springs' Nick Wool and Isaac Avery, 6-0, 6-0. Meanwhile, Abendschoen and Lee rallied to beat York Catholic's Nick Bartkowiak and Nicholas Gingerich, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5
