Roundup: Desotelle helps Gettysburg edge Dover

Gettysburg 94, Dover 82: Gettysburg’s Chandler Desotelle won the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly, eking out both victories in less than a second to help lift the Warriors to a tight victory over the Eagles.

In the 200 free, Desotelle edged Casey Marshall by .13 seconds to pick up the victory. He beat Hunter Link to the line in the 100 fly by .92 seconds. The extra four points gave the Warriors just enough cushion heading into the final event. Desotelle also swam on the winning 400 free relay.

Dover got individual wins from Link (200 IM) and Marshall (100 back), and they both swam on the winning 200 medley relay.

Susquehannock 96, West York 73: Robert Jackson and Justin Reed won two individual events apiece to lead the Warriors to the home victory.

Jackson won the 50 and 100 freestyle races for Susquehannock, while Reed won the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. Reed also swam on the 200 medley relay team, which was the Warriors' only relay victory of the day.

West York got an individual win from Jake Spangler (200 free) and Greg Landis (200 IM), and both of them swam on the winning 200 and 400 freestyle relays.

York Suburban 115, Northeastern 57: Aidan Fryar swam on all three winning relays to help lead the Trojans to the road win.

Fryar also won the 50 freestyle.

Northeastern got two individual wins apiece from Drew Wilson and Drake Myers. Wilson won the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly, while Myers claimed the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke.
