Dallastown boys show balance to beat Central


Dallastown used a balanced offensive attack and a big second-quarter run to beat Central York, 55-46, on Friday night.

The Wildcats outscored the Panthers, 20-9, in the second quarter to take a 25-18 point lead into halftime.

Brandon McGlynn scored 15 points, and Donovan Catchings added 13. Six other players also scored for Dallastown, an effort that helped the Wildcats overcome a game-high 19 points from Central's Courtney Batts.

The Wildcats improve to 10-3, 5-3 in YAIAA Division I heading into Wednesday's showdown with undefeated Northeastern. Central York slips to 7-6, 4-4.
