Dover outscored Bermudian Springs in a pivotal third quarter and pulled off a 52-37 victory in the first round of the Bermudian Springs tip-off tournament.

Dover went on a 17-11 run in the third quarter to take command of the game.

The Eagles advance to Saturday's championship game to play Camp Hill, a 64-46 winner against Kennard-Dale.

Dover's Brady Bowman scored a team-high 16 points and Keith Davis added 13 points. Bermudian's Quinton Nace scored 16 points.

Lancaster Catholic tournament

Central York 72, Solanco 34: Garrett Markey scored a game-high 24 points and the Panthers ran away with their season-opener by outscoring Solanco, 20-4, in the opening quarter. Braden Richard added 11 points and the Panthers piled up 55 first-half points.

Central York will face the host Crusaders in the championship game Saturday.

Carlisle tournament

Carlisle 62, South Western 40: The Mustangs held their own against the host Thundering Herd in the first half, trailing by just five at the half. But Carlisle pulled away with a 22-4 run in the third quarter. Carlisle's Deshawn Millington scored a game-high 26 points.

South Western's Ryan Luke and Dhane Schmelyun each scored 11 points.

Milton Hershey tournament

CD East 66, West York 39: The Panthers jumped out to a 17-5 first-quarter lead, and the Bulldogs never recovered from a slow start. The Panthers' Brennan Jackson scored a game-high 18 points.

West York's Jadakiss Fields scored a team-high 10 points.

Hanover tournament

Columbia 66, York Country Day 63: In a shocking upset in the season-opener, the Crimson Tide knocked off the defending District 3 Class A champions. The Greyhounds did not lose a game until the state tournament last season.

Columbia rallied from a five-point halftime deficit, finishing the game on a 19-14 run to seal the win. Four Columbia starters reached double figures in scoring.

Jalen Gorham scored a game-high 16 points for the Greyhounds.

Hanover 60, Newport 43: The Nighthawks built a 10-point halftime lead and sealed the win by outscoring Newport, 18-13, in the third quarter. Hanover's Hunter Martz (11 points), Kyle Bowman (11) and Kwame Myers (10) each scored in double figures.
