Northeastern on point from beyond arc


Seven different players gave Northeastern a boost from behind the 3-point arc Friday.

The Bobcats hit 12 3-pointers in a 91-63 victory against York Suburban. The victory, their eighth in a row, clinched them a share of the YAIAA Division II title.

Kobi Nwandu led the way with 25 points as four Bobcats reached double-figures. Jordan Zirkle was one of those as he chipped in with 11 points, nine of those coming via the 3-pointer.

The Trojans received a team-high 12 points from Willie Batty.
