Balanced Eastern cruises to YAIAA victory


Here are Monday's York/Adams boys' basketball results. Check back often for results.

Eastern York 82, York County Tech 62: Dom Particelli led five Golden Knights in double-figures with 14 points as his team cruised to the road victory.

Jared Achterberg added 12 points and Broguen Nicholas 11 for Eastern, while Elijah Lowe and Jarad Woods each had 10.

York County Tech’s Ty Brown led all scorers with 21 points.

New Oxford 76, Littlestown 47: The Colonials connected on 12-of-29 (41 percent) from beyond the arc and 28-of-58 (48 percent) overall in posting a season-high in points. It was their sixth win in the past eight games — a most unexpected tear after starting the year 0-6.

New Oxford (7-10) trailed briefly in the opening quarter when Brady Topper's 3-pointer gave the Thunderbolts a 5-3 lead, but just over a minute later, a 3-pointer by Jordin Brown put the visitors ahead to stay, 8-5.
