McQueen, Krout power Hanover to victory


Here are Friday's York/Adams boys' basketball results. Check back often for updates.

Hanover 85, Fairfield 57: Will McQueen and Kyle Krout powered the Nighthawks' offense. McQueen led all scorers with 23 points, and Krout was right behind him with 22. Hunter Martz also chipped in 16 for Hanover.

Fairfield’s Darien Mort paced his team with 15 points.Leland Sailors added 14.

Gary Hunt scored a game-high 23 for Red Lion, including five 3-pointers.

Littlestown 37, Bermudian Springs 28: Quinton Nace and Tony Petrosky combined for 28 points, but no one else scored for the Eagles as they dropped a Division III contest to the Thunderbolts.

Logan Collins led a balanced attack for the visitors with 11 points, as five different Bolts scored and all chipped in with at least six points.

York Suburban 57, Dover 53: The Trojans scored 24 fourth-quarter points, breaking open a 33-all tie after three quarters.

The hosts scored 16 of those points from the free-throw line as they knocked down 16-of-20 in the quarter including a 6-of-6 performance from Donovan Mears, who finished with 13 points. Jack Shultz scored a team-high 18 points, nine of those coming in the fourth quarter.

Dover's Keith Davis led all scorers with 22 points in the loss, while Najah Fink added 14 for the Eagles.

Adam Freese dropped in 16 for Kennard-Dale, while Craig Potts had 10.

Susquehannock’s Nick Tannura scored 15 points, and Jacob Mahan added 11.
