Brown, Ray boost York Country Day to win

York Country Day 93, Harrisburg Academy 57: DeAireus Brown and Jordan Ray’s combined points total was the same as Harrisburg Academy’s in the Greyhounds home win.

Brown poured in 34 points, while Ray scored 23. York Country Day also received 20 points from D.J. Hamilton.

The visitors were led by Jalen Gabbidon's game-high 35 points.

Biglerville 67, Newport 59: After trailing by eight points early in the second quarter, Biglerville rallied for a convincing win against Newport.

At home against the Buffaloes, the Canners (7-7) went 19-of-23 from free throw line and hit 16 shots from the charity stripe in the second half to put the game away. They led by 16 with two minutes to play but allowed eight late points after putting in substitutes.

Noah Ayers led the Canners with 19 points and went 12-of-13 from the foul line. Freshman center Drew Riley added 14 points, and Cody Shaffer scored 13.
