3 YAIAA players nominated for All American game


Three YAIAA basketball players have been nominated for the McDonald's All American Games: William Penn's Kristopher Johnson and Montrel Morgan on the boys' side, and Northeastern's Jordyn Kloster on the girls' side.

Johnson, Morgan and Kloster are among 755 high school seniors nominated for the All American Games. They were selected by their high school coaches, athletic directors, principals and members of the selection committee.

The final rosters will include 24 boys and 24 girls who will play in the All American Games. The rosters will be announced in a selection show on ESPNU that airs at 10:30 p.m. Jan. 17.

The games are scheduled for March 30 in Chicago. The girls' game is at 6:30 p.m. and airs on ESPNU, and the boys' game is at 9 p.m. on ESPN. Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. Feb. 6.

The All American Games benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
