Gettysburg's Cosden picked for Baseball Factory National World Series

Gettysburg rising senior PJ Cosden has been selected to compete at the 2015 Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City, the spring training facility for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The event features 14- to 18-year-old players from across the country for five days of intense training and competitive game play in Bradenton, Florida. It's scheduled for Aug. 3 to 7.

Cosden earned a spot in the event through a tryout at the Under Armour Baseball Factory National Tryout in June in Charleston, West Virginia.

Baseball Factory's staff of former professional scouts, former professional players and former college coaches will work with players daily on all aspects of their game. In addition, players get to test their skills against some of their most talented peers from all over the country as they compete in tournament games to take home the Baseball Factory National World Series Championship title.
