Monday's baseball roundup: Eastern denied division title by Toby Sponseller's big day with the bat and on the mound

BERMUDIAN SPRINGS 11, EASTERN YORK 10 >> Alex Tweardy and Toby Sponseller each had four hits, helping to propel Bermudian Springs to an early 9-1 lead before the Eagles held on to deny Eastern York an outright division II title.

Sponseller added three runs and three RBIs and picking up the win pitching, throwing the final two innings. Colby Shimmel led the Golden Knnights with three hits, three runs and an RBI.

KENNARD-DALE 2, DOVER 1 >> The Rams held off the visiting Eagles, thanks to a solid pitching performance from Kyle Amrheim, who allowed only three hits. Kennard-Dale collected six hits with two players doubling. Dover pitcher William Fetrow struck out six in defeat.

Chase Long was the winning pitcher with nine strikeouts and three walks. Isaac Silver hit a double for Hanover.
