Tuesday's baseball roundup: Dallastown's Strayer, Central's Burris fire no-hitters

CENTRAL YORK 11, KENNARD-DALE 0 (6) >> Beau Burris surrendered just one walk, throwing a no-hitter to lead Central York past Kennard-Dale.

Adam Reed added a grand slam in a six run fourth inning that broke the game open.

DALLASTOWN 15, DOVER 0 (5) >> Avery Strayer fired a no-hitter, striking out five batters, the only runners reaching via walk and an error as Dallastown beat Dover in five innings.

Jake Garrityand Cody Somerville did the most damage offensively for the Wildcats. Starner went 3-for-4, while Somerville went 2-for-4. Both scored twice and added three RBIs apiece.

NEW OXFORD 11, SUSQUEHANNOCK 1>> New Oxford came out strong in the first inning, scoring four runs and allowing Susquehannock only one, which would be their only run of the game.

Josh Shultz pitched the whole game and struck out two for the Colonials.

WEST YORK 3, SPRING GROVE 2 (9) >> Tyler Seiffert had a walk-off single, leading West York to a nine-inning win over Spring Grove.

The Bulldogs trailed 2-0 entering the bottom of the seventh before rallying to force extra innings.

Derek Hoiles went 3-for-4 for the Rockets while Seiffert went 2-for-4 for the Bulldogs. Each accounted for half of their teams hits.

Luke Kasian went 3-for-4 with three runs scored for the Crusaders.
