YAIAA top performers, April 28


Anthony DeVincent scored four goals and handed out four assists to help lead Susquehannock to a 10-9, overtime win against Red Lion on Wednesday night. Dorian Faster scored the game-winner to cap off a hat-trick performance for the Warriors.

Susquehannock's win creates chaos in the YAIAA with the Warriors now tied with Central York and Red Lion with an 8-2 record atop the standings. York Catholic is a half-game back at 7-2.

With one league game remaining for each team, the regular-season title is still very much up for grabs.

Here is a look at Wednesday's other top performers from around the YAIAA:

Boys' lacrosse

Central York's Katon Yantek scored a hat trick and dished out six assists to lead the Panthers to the 19-6 win against New Oxford. ... The Spring Grove duo of Bryce Kephart and Tanner Bolton each scored three goals and made an assist in a 10-9 win against West York.

Boys' volleyball

Kennard-Dale's Kyle Wooldridge snapped 20 kills and stuffed hitters nine times in the Rams' sweep of Eastern York, 25-21, 25-11, 25-20. His teammate Josiah McConville did a little bit of everything with 30 assists, nine kills, eight blocks and seven digs. ... New Oxford's Kameron Weinberg racked up 30 assists to go with four kills and four assists in the Colonials' sweep of Dover, 25-18, 25-16, 25-21. ... Red Lion's Dillon Hildebrand and Cole Brillhart picked up 11 kills apiece as the Lions swept Dallastown, 25-23, 25-23, 25-17.

Softball

Fairfield's Courtney Harbaugh registered seven strikeouts in the Green Knights' 8-2 win against Hanover. From the plate, Harbaugh was a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and an RBI.

Girls' lacrosse

Kennard-Dale's Maddie Day scored seven times in the Rams' 18-4 win against Eastern York.
