HERSHEY >> Friday proved to be a rough day for the four Class AA wrestlers from Lebanon County who were still alive in the PIAA Wrestling Championships at Giant Center.

In the second round of consolations, all four suffered their second defeat of the tournament and were eliminated.

Annville-Cleona's Joshua Renninger finished with a 2-2 record at 132 pounds. Friday, he was edged 3-2 by Matt Schmall of Northern Lehigh.

Little Dutchman teammate Jeffrey Inman also fell by the slimmest of margins, 2-1, to Damon Greenwald of Burrell. Inman was 0-2 in the tournament at 152.

At 160, Northern Lebanon's Luke Funck took on Jon Wagner of Huntingdon and suffered a 4-1 loss, to finish 0-2 at the event.

Finally, the Vikings' Evan Daub competed at 170 and was also 0-2. Friday morning, he lost a high-scoring affair to Michael Millero of Reynolds, 9-6.

For the season, Daub was 41-13, Funck 41-14, Inman ended 32-5 and Renninger was 43-15. Inman and Daub are seniors, Renninger is a junior and Funck just a sophomore.
