Hempfield retained its undefeated record Tuesday night with a sweep over Section One rival Penn Manor, 25-15, 25-20, 27-25.
The Black Knights trailed the Comets by as many as seven points in the third set before rallying late to complete the sweep.
The win improves Hempfield to 11-0, 9-0 while Penn Manor falls to 11-2, 8-2. Both of the Comets’ losses this season have been to the Knights.
