Lebanon County's top two female swimmers, Cedar Crest's Caitlyn Gelgot and Palmyra's Ellie Keck, closed out very successful seasons in the pool with strong efforts at the PIAA Swimming Championships on Saturday.

Gelgot, a senior, wrapped up a distinguished career with a 15th place finish in the Class 3A 50-yard freestyle in 24.14 seconds, while Keck, a junior, ended her 2016-17 campaign with a 16th place performance in the 3A 100-yard butterfly at Bucknell. Keck touched the wall in 57.50 seconds.

Gelgot's time beat her seeding performance by .18 seconds, while Keck was unable to match her seed time of 56.70 seconds.

Cedar Crest's Eli Gryboski will wrap up the county's stay at states on Sunday, when he competes in the Boys 3A 100-yard breast stroke. Gryboski is the reigning Lancaster-Lebanon League champ in the event, and also took the silver medal in the breast stroke at districts.
