BOYS' SOCCER ROUNDUP: Eli Setlock lifts Annville-Cleona in double-OT


Eli Setlock scored in the 95th minute and Annville-Cleona avenged a bad mid-season loss to Pequea Valley with a 2-1 road win over the Braves on Monday night. Following nearly 75 scoreless minutes of play, Santiago Gimeno fed Setlock, who netted the game's only goal after the 21st minute. Little Dutchmen defender Javier Gonzalez and Pequea Valley's Eli Huyard each netted goals in the opening stages.

The victory kept Annville-Cleona alone in second place in Section Three with two games remaining on the schedule. The Little Dutchmen outshot the Braves, 12-3.

ELCO 5, LEBANON CATHOLIC 1>> Thanks to a Kameron Schott goal in the fourth minute, the Beavers were on the board early but couldn't find the net again in a four-goal home defeat. Justin Kimmet provided the Raiders' answer in the 38th minute, while Austin Eldridge, Seth Noll and Mason Bennetch scored post-intermission. Bennetch notched a pair of goals within four minutes of each other.

SOLANCO 2, LEBANON 1>> The Cedars suffered a tough overtime defeat at home not four minutes into an extra session against the Golden Mules. Bryan Olivares beat Lebanon keeper Felix Kortright-Roman (21 saves) at the 83:57 mark, following a second-half Solanco goal via Cody Bleacher. The Cedars' Karim Agha gave his team a 1-0 lead midway through the opening half. Solanco outshot Lebanon, 25-8.

LANCASTER CATHOLIC 1, NORTHERN LEBANON 0>> The Vikings fell to 1-14-1 on the season with a close defeat to the Crusaders, who scored in the first half.
