BOYS' SOCCER ROUNDUP: Palmyra dumps Susquehanna Twp. in double OT

Sean Bordner scored in double overtime to lift Palmyra to a 2-1 divisional win over Susquehanna Twp. on Tuesday night. The Cougars led 1-0 after halftime thanks to a Ben Groff score, bouncing back nicely from a one-goal loss at Elco the night before. When the Indians answered in the second half, it took two extra sessions until Palmyra escaped at home and improved to 4-4 on the season.

ELCO 4, LEBANON CATHOLIC 0>> Four first-half goals were all the Raiders needed to notch back-to-back wins to open their week. Austin Eldridge put Elco on the board in the second minute, before Adam Omar, Mason Bennetch and Justin Kegerise added scores. Elco, which totaled 20 shots Tuesday, has now won six of its last seven games.

LANCASTER CATHOLIC 2, NORTHERN LEBANON 0>> Shane Reese racked up 22 saves but the Crusaders snuck by one shot in each half to post a two-goal win over the Vikings. Northern Lebanon recorded only seven shots on net and three corners on the evening.
