GIRLS' SOCCER ROUNDUP: Reagan Hess breaks Annville-Cleona program record


Junior Reagan Hess netted three goals Tuesday in a 5-1 against Lebanon Catholic and broke the Annville-Cleona girls' soccer program record for most goals in a career. Hess now stands at a dozen for the season and 55 overall. She needed 10 at the beginning of this year to break the mark.

The Little Dutchmen improved to 3-2 with their home section win, also receiving scores from Morgan Dancause and Gabbie Bennett. Beavers sophomore Neesha Pierce netted her team's lone goal on a penalty kick in the second half. Annville-Cleona outshot Lebanon Catholic 22-2.

ELCO 2, NORTHERN LEBANON 0>> Raiders goalie Emma Strickler posted a shutout with a 3-save effort against the rival Vikings. Kate Fisher and Ryelle Shuey scored in the second half to push Elco to 4-1 on the season.

ELIZABETHTOWN 7, LEBANON 0>> The Cedars suffered a tough road defeat against the Section Two power Bears. Vanessa Valentin made six saves in net.
