BASEBALL: Lancaster County Christian claims PIAA Class A title

Only one team in each class gets to end the baseball season on a win. On Friday morning, that privilege was awarded to Lancaster County Christian.

The Lions claimed their first PIAA Class A baseball title after a dominating 8-0 win over District 10's Eisenhower at Penn State's Medlar Field.

LCC got a brilliant performance from pitcher Kyle Ebersole who threw a two-hitter through seven innings while collecting six strikeouts and allowing just one walk.

Ebersole's counterpart, Casey Vincent, gave up 10 hits to LCC while yielding five walks and three earned runs in 6.2 innings.

Eisenhower also committed five errors in the game.

The Lions scored in every inning but two with Ebersole, Ben Glessner and Jensen King all collecting multiple hits.
