Manheim Township claims seventh straight L-L girls' LAX title
The Blue Streaks defeated Hempfield, 13-7 to claims their seventh straight L-L girls' lacrosse title on Thursday, May 12, 2016.

Manheim Township hoisted the Lancaster-Lebanon League girls’ lacrosse trophy for the seventh consecutive time Thursday night after defeating Hempfield, 13-7 at Conestoga Valley High School.
Starring for the Streaks was senior Maryn Bernhardt, who scored six goals and Carolyn Mann, who racked up five assists.
After falling behind, 9-2 at halftime, Hempfield closed the gap in the second half when junior Paige Diminick rattled off three straight goals to make the score 11-5 but the Streaks were able to hold on to preserve the lead late in the game.
