Roundup: Palmyra girls pin Hershey, Lebanon falls


Amelia Baldo notched a game-high 13 points and the Palmyra girls basketball team (12-8, 7-6 Mid-Penn Keystone) stomped Hershey, 43-26, Monday. The Cougars held their division rivals to nine points in the second half, while scoring at least that number in every quarter. Olivia Richardson also scored 11 for Palmyra, while the Trojans were led by Cassie Zugay's 10.

The Cougars wrap up their regular season Tuesday at Cedar Cliff.

Solanco 59, Lebanon 55: Despite producing a 20-point opening quarter, the Cedars (4-16, 3-12 Lancaster-Lebanon) dropped a tough Section Two decision in Quarryville. Lebanon's Alexis Hill posted 20 points and Jasmine Turner turned in 14. The Golden Mules had five players score at least seven points.

Annville-Cleona 33, Oley Valley 32: The Little Dutchmen (6-15, 4-11 Lancaster-Lebanon) held off a late push to pick up a home win and the second victory of their last three games. Stephanie Inman connected on three 3-pointers en route to a team-high 10 points.
