Falcons take 20-2 lead, coast from there

The Cedar Crest girls' basketball team won handily over Conrad Weiser on Tuesday, 52-31 in the opening round of the Eastern York Rotary Tournament.

Cedar Crest went up 20-2 after the first quarter and maintained the advantage for the rest of the evening. Ariel Jones scored 20 points for the Falcons. The other Cedar Crest double-digit scorer was Alyssa Austin, who finished with 11.

Cedar Crest will face Eastern York Wednesday night for the tournament championship. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Eastern York High School.
