Lebanon Co. Field Hockey well represented in All-State honors

Six Lebanon County field hockey players were named as 2016 Pennsylvania All-State Selections in Class 3A Monday, including five from Palmyra, and one from Cedar Crest.

The Cougars selected include Jess Dembrowski, Katelyn Mark, Cheyenne Sprecher, Lauren Wadas, and Alexis Smith, who led Palmyra on another incredible postseason run, before falling short to Emmaus in the PIAA Class 3A Championship. All five Cougars were also selected as Mid-Penn-Keystone all-star honors in November.

The lone Lady Falcons representative was Emily Peters, who finished her senior season with 21 goals and eight assists, and was also named a Lancaster-Lebanon League Field Hockey All-Star in November, including being Cedar Crest's only first team all-start in Section One.
