Palmyra's Dembrowski Keystone Player of the Year


Palmyra field hockey standout Jess Dembrowski was named the Mid-Penn Conference Keystone Division Player of the Year on Thursday to head a list of six Cougars honored as all-stars by the conference.

Dembrowski earned her award after posting 20 goals and 10 assists during the regular season and leading Palmyra to the No.2 seed in the 3A district playoffs.

Dembrowski was joined on the Keystone Division First Team by goalie Cheyenne Sprecher, midfielder Katelyn Mark and forward Lexy Smith.

Defender Kylie Bomgardner and forward Lauren Wadas were honorable mention picks from Palmyra.
