It went down to the wire, but the Northern Lebanon boys basketball team (4-4, 2-3 Lancaster-Lebanon) couldn't hold on at Cocalico, dropping a 57-53 decision to the Eagles. Three Vikings finished in double figures, led by Shane Reese's 17 points. Isaac Bicher and Caleb Light both scored 10.

Cocalico's Tucker Lescoe notched a game-high 20 points, as the Eagles overcame a first-half deficit via an 11-6 third quarter. The Vikings will next travel to unbeaten Lampeter-Strasburg on Wednesday.

Lancaster Catholic 59, Lebanon Catholic 48: Joe Gates recorded 15 points and Davian Perez chipped in with a dozen, but the Beavers couldn't complete a home comeback against the Crusaders. Lebanon Catholic (1-6, 0-5) fell behind by 10 at halftime and next hosts another section foe in Lancaster Mennonite on Wednesday.
