Cedar Crest girls basketball scores with 'Foul Shots for Cancer'

Extra time at the charity stripe is not only helping the Cedar Crest girls basketball team win games, but also continue giving back to its community.

The Lady Falcons continue to participate in the annual "Foul Shots for Cancer" event.

The season-long event has players shooting foul shots during and after practices.

This year's goal for each player in grades seven through 12 was to shoot more than 500 foul shots throughout the season. This year, the girls raised a total of $3,121.00.

Over the past five years, Cedar Crest has been able to donate a total of $12,762.00 to the Lebanon County American Cancer Society.
