The Lebanon High boys basketball team rolled to its fourth straight victory on Thursday night, handling Cedar Cliff 67-50 on the opening night of the Cedar Crest Holiday Tournament. 

Camryn Shaak led the way for the Cedars, exploding for six 3-pointers and 22 of his game-high 26 points in the first half as Lebanon (5-2) jumped to a 40-22 lead by intermission. Luis Aquino-Rios added 12 points for the Cedars, who will face Camp Hill on the second and final night of the tourney on Friday at 6 p.m. Lebanon and Cedar Crest are not playing each other in the event, with two impending Lancaster-Lebanon Section 1 meetings on the way in the new year.

In all, Lebanon hit 10 3-pointers in the win - six by Shaak and two apiece by Aquino-Rios and Dante Vargas.

Cedar Crest 45, Camp Hill 41

In the nightcap at the Falcon Cage, host Cedar Crest squeaked out the narrow win after the Lions nearly erased a 12-point fourth quarter deficit.

Blake Thomson led the Falcons (5-2) with 18 points and Cole Laney chipped in with 13. Cedar Crest will meet Cedar Cliff in the tournament finale Friday night at 7:30.

Conestoga Valley 63, New Covenant 17

In the consolation game of the Wyomissing holiday event, the Flames were outscored 22-5 in the first quarter on the way to the lopsided loss. Dalton Fortna led New Covenant with 8 points and two 3-pointers.

Girls Basketball

Lebanon Catholic 53, Linden Hall 39

The Beavers got their holiday tournament off to a strong start, riding a 26-point explosion by Alexis Hill to a spot in Friday night's 7:30 p.m. title game.

Catholic led 27-15 at the half and by more than 20 points in the fourth quarter while improving to 6-2 ahead of Friday's championship game matchup with Donegal, a 64-30 winner over Mt. Calvary.

Annville-Cleona 48, Schuylkill Valley 25

In the consolation game of A-C's holiday event, Michaela Singer and Lauren Schrader dropped in 10 points apiece to help Annville-Cleona snap a four-game losing streak.

Now 4-4 heading into the new year, A-C set the tone for the win with a 15-6 run through the first quarter, then later turned the contest into a rout by scoring the first 12 points of the second half.
