HERSHEY- As time was winding down in Wednesday's District 3 Class AAA girls’semifinal game between Greencastle-Atrim and Berks Catholic, the lights went dim in the Giant Center and the horn began to blare uncontrollably throughout the arena.

Play was halted with 1:36 remaining. Action resumed in the dim light, and the game was completed with the referees and scorekeeping officials keeping track of the time manually. Berks Catholic earned a 48-31 victory.

Although the lights are still not at full power and the scoreboard is not functioning, the district semifinal between Lancaster Mennonite and Trinity is expected to go on as planned.
