Game of the day 

Annville-Cleona softball 6, Cocalico 5 (10 innings)

After coming back to force extras with a three-run fifth inning, the Dutchmen got just enough with a two-run tenth. The Eagles got to within a run in the bottom half, but A-C held on.

Player of the day 

Cody Kissinger, Lebanon baseball 

Kissinger earned a complete game shutout in the Cedars' 3-0 win over Columbia, striking out eight, and only walking one.

Baseball

Cedar Crest 4, Elizabethtown 3

The Falcons stole the game from the Bears with a run in the top of the seventh. Both teams scored runs in the first, third, and fifth, but the Falcons never relinquished the lead.

Elco 6, Pequea Valley 1

The Raiders jumped out to a 4-0 lead with a four-run second and never looked back from there.

Lebanon 3, Columbia 0

Three runs were all the Cedars needed, all coming in the second inning, taking advantage of two Crimson Tide errors. While Kissinger was dealing on the mound, Antonio Collazo finished 1-for-3 with a RBI and run scored.

Softball

Cedar Crest 4, Elizabethtown 1

In an ugly game for both teams, the Falcons did just enough with two runs in the first and fifth. Both teams committed a combined eight errors (E-town five, Crest three).

Pequea Valley 5, Elco 1

The Raiders threw a mini-scare into the Section 4 leaders but the upset bid was hampered by fielding misadventures that led to six errors.

Sarah Yermalovich tripled and drove in the lone Elco run and Amaya Phillips added two hits in a losing cause.

Lampeter-Strasburg 21, Lebanon Catholic 0 (3 innings)

In an ugly loss, the Beavers found themselves in a 17-0 hole after one inning. Catholic was also no-hit, while committing four errors.

Northern Lebanon 5, Lancaster Catholic 3

Up 5-0, the Vikings held off a late Crusaders' three-run rally in the sixth. Melanie Showers had a double, as well as nine strikeouts on the mound. Hannah Bashore also had a double.

Warwick 10, Lebanon 0 (5 innings)

Only trailing 3-0 after three, the wheels fell off for the Cedars in the fourth, surrendering seven runs, clinching an early ending. The Cedars were also held to three hits.

Bishop McDevitt 5, Palmyra 1

The Cougars fell in a 4-0 hole after a big 2nd inning by McDevitt and couldn't make up the difference.

Ashley Acri and Bri Long were bright spots in defeat for Palmyra with two hits apiece.

Boys Tennis 

Central Dauphin 4, Palmyra 1 

Ben Clary had the lone win for the Cougars, defeating the Rams' Jason Kline, 6-2, 6-0.
