Game of the Day 

Palmyra boys volleyball 3, Northern York 1

Though they ultimately still won by two sets, the Cougars had to fight for every set win. After taking the first set 25-20, Palmyra took the second 25-21. Then after losing 25-21 in the third, the Cougars rallied to take the match by winning the fourth set 25-21.

Player of the Day

Cheyenne Sprecher, Palmyra girls lacrosse 

Sprecher was the lone bright spot in a rough 21-5 loss for the Cougars against State College, accounting for every Palmyra goal. Sprecher scored four goals, while assisting on the fifth.

Boys lacrosse

Palmyra 14, State College 5

The Cougars scored six goals in the fourth quarter to pull away. Kyle Nolen led Palmyra with a six-point night of four goals and two assists. With the win, the Cougars improve to 12-0 this season. The Cougars now get ready for a big date with Cumberland Valley Tuesday.

Girls lacrosse 

State College 21, Palmyra 5 

On a rare tough night, the Cougars dug a big hole early by trailing 14-3 at the half, which they couldn't overcome. Besides Sprecher's productive night, Nikki Bowman had a goal and two assists.

Boys tennis 

Cumberland Valley 4, Palmyra 1

Ben Clary had the lone victory for the Cougars, defeating the Eagles' Max Kluger, 6-4, 6-2.

Boys Volleyball 

Hempfield 3, Cedar Crest 0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-5)

On a rough night for the Falcons, Jake Cole led the way with 10 assists, along with Mark Johns and Logan Wise with five digs each.

Lancaster Mennonite 3, Lebanon 0 (25-10, 25-16, 25-12)

Paul Heagy led the way for the Cedars in a tough one with nine kills and six digs. Tyler Bolden had an ace and 12 assists.
