Game of the Day 

Palmyra boys lacrosse 11, Warwick 6

Palmyra goes to 7-0 this season with the win, pulling away with a seven-goal third. Kyle Nolan led the Cougars with four goals, while Pete Robertson also recorded a four-point night with a hat trick and an assist.

Player of the Day 

Kaylee Mauser, Northern Lebanon softball

Mauser led the way in the Vikings' dominating 15-0 win over Lebanon Catholic with a 3-for-3 day with a double, home run, and four RBI.

Baseball 

Garden Spot 11, Annville-Cleona 1 (5 innings)

The Spartans took command early with a nine-run first, before closing it out with two runs in the bottom of the fifth. The loss ends a three-game win streak for the Dutchmen.

Elco 10, Columbia 0 (6 innings)

The Raiders have now won two straight, using a four-run fifth to help seal the game early. 

Palmyra 1, Central Dauphin East 0

The lone Cougars run came in the second inning, starting when Sam Zeigler reached base on a fly ball that was misplayed in the outfield by the Panthers. Zeigler later scored on a Christian Kreiser's sacrifice fly. 

Cedar Crest 4, Conestoga Valley 1

Two runs in the bottom of the fifth helped the Falcons seal the win. Nate Cavic led the way going 2-for-3 with a RBI.

Lancaster Catholic 11, Lebanon 1 (5 innings)

A pair of four-run innings doomed the Cedars in this one. Lebanon also committed three errors.

Softball 

Conestoga Valley 6, Cedar Crest 5 (10 innings)

Trailing 2-0, the Lady Falcons responded to tie the game in the top of the sixth, then tied it again in the seventh to force extras. After both teams scored in the eighth, the Buck Skins scored two runs in the 10th to win it. 

Central Dauphin East 7, Palmyra 3

In a sloppy game in which both teams committed 10 combined errors (six by Palmyra, four by CD East), the Panthers took a 6-1 lead into the sixth, a hole that the Cougars could not dig out of. Bri Long had two RBI for Palmyra. 

Elco 11, Columbia 5 

The Raiders broke the game open with a five-run fourth inning. Sarah Yermalovich, Amaya Phillips, and Allie Header each had a RBI.

Lampeter-Strasburg 10, Annville-Cleona 0 (5 innings)

A five-run fifth helped the Pioneers seal an early victory.

Northern Lebanon 15, Lebanon Catholic 0 (3 innings)

The Vikings scored 13 runs over the first two innings to set up the mercy-rule, taking advantage of five Beavers errors. Along with Mauser's big day, Melanie Showers also led the way, finishing 2-for-2 with a double. 

Lebanon 19, McCaskey 11

After winning their first game Wednesday, the Cedars now have their first win streak of the season after surviving a wild one. After taking a 6-0 lead in the bottom of the first, Lebanon gave those runs right back in the next half inning. Then after the Red Tornado took an 11-10 lead in the top of the fifth, the Cedars stormed back to tie it in the bottom half, then scored eight in the sixth to seal with win. 

Boys Lacrosse 

Hempfield 15, Cedar Crest 0

In a dominating win, the Black Knights scored 11 goals in the first half to cruise.

Girls Lacorsse 

Warwick 14, Palmyra 10

The Warriors had a big half offensively with 10 goals, but the Lady Cougars rallied, and fell short. Cheyenne Sprecher led the way with five goals and an assist. 

Boys Tennis 

Annville-Cleona 6, Lebanon 1 

The Dutchmen swept all singles matches, led by William Klatchko cruising past the Cedar's Jose Aviles in No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0. Drew Speraw took care of Lebanon's Alex Mease in No. 3 singles, 6-2, 7-5.

Boys Track and Field 

Palmyra 82, Ephrata 68

Sam Sheils led the Cougars winning two events, including he 100 meter race in 11.5, and the 200 meter race in 23.7. Bennett Vonstetten won the High Hurdles in 16.9.

Girls Track and Field 

Ephrata 93, Palmyra 57

Camryn Simpson won two events to lead the Cougars, taking the Triple Jump (34' 10"), and Long Jump (17'10"), Jannae Bond also won two events, including the High Jump (4'10"), and the 300 hurdles in 51.8.

Boys Volleyball 

McCaskey 3, Cedar Crest 0 (26-24, 25-15, 25-20)

Mark Johns led the Falcons with 11 kills, while Jake Cole has 22 assists.
