Game of the Day

Northern Lebanon boys basketball 64, Lebanon Catholic 34

The Vikings picked up their second county rivalry win of the week, following up Tuesday's big win over Annville-Cleona to rout the Beavers by 30 points.

Alex Yeager led the way with 21 points and Caleb Light added 14 points as NL raced to a 25-15 halftime lead and never looked back.

Nate Hatzfeld and Kyle Kauffman led the Beavers in defeat with 12 points apiece.

Players of the Day 

Bryant Willis and Isaac Blatt, Palmyra boys basketball

Willis and Blatt each tossed in 20 points and combined to go 14-for-14 at the foul line to help the Cougars to a key Mid-Penn Keystone win.

Boys Basketball 

Lancaster Mennonite 69, Elco 54

A 17-6 first quarter burst by Mennonite put the Raiders into a hole they could not escape. Mason Bossert led Elco with 13 points and Nate Beamer and Ryan Eshleman tallied 12 apiece.

Palmyra 63, Cedar Cliff 53

The Cougars got 20 points apiece from Willis and Blatt in the Mid-Penn Keystone win, which was helped along by an 18-10 run through the first quarter.

Columbia 65, Annville-Cleona 43

Isaac Burris tossed in a team-high 17 points but A-C  was doomed to defeat by the Crimson Tide's 23-point second quarter, which turned a 10-9 first quarter lead into a 32-25 halftime deficit that continued to expand.

Girls Basketball

Cedar Crest 51, Warwick 28

The Falcons remained unbeaten in emphatic fashion, improving to 15-0 overall and 9-0 in Section 1 with a drubbing of the Warriors.

Alyssa Austin led Crest with 16 points and Ariel Jones added 14.

Elco, Lancaster Mennonite

Columbia 55, Annville-Cleona 42

A four-point fourth quarter did A-C in in this Section 3 setback. Michaela Singer led A-C with 13 points and Lauren Schrader added 10.

Lampeter-Strasburg 74, Lebanon 26

The Cedars stayed winless as the Pioneers jumped to a 28-3 lead after the first quarter. Destiny Infante led Lebanon with 8 points.

CPIHL

Central Dauphin 5, Cedar Crest 1

The Falcons struck first with an Owen Faiola goal but CD ran off the next five scores en route to the win.

Annville-Cleona 10, Manheim Central 3

Brendan Moyer racked up four goals in the lopsided win over the Barons.

Lower Dauphin 8, Palmyra 6

A pair of Jacob Herman goals failed to offset four straight LD goals in the third period of this narrow loss for the Cougars.
