Game of the day 

Palmyra boys basketball 55, Mechanicsburg 41

The Cougars bounced back nicely from Tuesday night's upset loss to Lower Dauphin to hand Mechanicsburg its first Mid-Penn Keystone loss.

Isaac Blatt paced Pete Conrad's group with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and three steals, while Braden Vernet added 13 points and 5 boards to the win and Bryant Willis chipped in with 11.

The win left Palmyra 12-2 overall and 6-2 in the Keystone.

Player of the day 

Brendan Moyer, Annville-Cleona ice hockey

Moyer had a huge night in A-C's 10-2 CPIHL win over Elizabethtown, exploding for four goals to lead the rout. He also added two assists to the blowout win.

Boys Basketball

Annville-Cleona 71, Lebanon Catholic 42

Noah Myers erupted for 24 points as A-C rolled over Catholic in this intra-county battle.

Myers was one of 10 different point scorers for A-C, which also got 12 points from Cameron Hoch and 10 points from Deshaun Archer.

Girls Basketball

Lebanon Catholic 48, Annville-Cleona 26

The Beavers jumped to a 16-3 first quarter lead and cruised from there en route to keeping a share of first place in Section 3.

Alexis Hill led Catholic (10-4, 6-1 Section 3) with 12 points and Jayden Shellehamer chipped in with 11.

Cedar Crest 59, Elizabethtown 33

The Falcons stayed perfect, improving to 13-0 behind a 20-point outing from Ariel Jones.

A 21-10 run through the third quarter clinched the win for Cedar Crest, the Lancaster-Lebanon League's lone unbeaten girls team.

Donegal 67, Lebanon 36

The Cedars' search for their first win continued in vain despite 13 points from Destiny Infante and 10 from Ary'Anna Ortolaza.

Mechanicsburg 36, Palmyra 32

At Palmyra, the Cougars dropped a close one, but benefited from a Cedar Cliff loss to Bishop McDevitt and is now locked in a four-way tie for first place in the Mid-Penn Keystone Division.

New Covenant Christian 45, Veritas Academy 29

Kylie Murray exploded for 29 points as the Flames took care of Veritas with the help of a 10-2 run through the third quarter.

CPIHL

Annville-Cleona 10, Elizabethtown 2

Moyer led the way with four goals and Samuel Mintz backed him up with a hat trick as A-C cruised to the easy victory.
