Lebanon Catholic girls basketball 71, Lititz Christian 22

The Lebanon Catholic girls basketball team has a huge game with Lancaster Catholic at home on Tuesday night. Based on Monday night's performance, the Beavers are ready.

Catholic jumped out to a 40-11 halftime lead, then held Lititz Christian scoreless on the way to a 71-22 win on Assumption Hill.

The Beavers, who hold sole possession of first place in Section 3 heading into Tuesday night's clash, placed three players in double figures on Monday, led by Alexis Hill's 15 points.

Jasmine Turner added 13 points and Neesha Pierre checked in with 10 as Catholic improved to 9-3.

Boys Basketball

Lititz Christian 48, Lebanon Catholic 42

The Beavers lost a tough one on Assumption Hill, getting outscored 15-9 in the fourth quarter after battling the visitors to a draw through the first three quarters.

Kyle Kauffman and Humberto Valerio led Catholic in defeat with 16 points apiece.

Wrestling

Elizabethtown 57, Elco 21

The Raiders fell in this non-leage contest despite victories from Cole Miller (decision, 195) and pins from Alex Puglio, Keegan Donmoyer and Owen Nell at 120, 126 and 138, respectively.

CPIHL

Cedar Crest 2, Lower Dauphin 2

The Falcons settled for a draw after LD's scored an unanswered power play goal in the third period of Monday night's clash of the Falcons.

Ian Hibshman and Nolan Hoover scored the goals for Cedar Crest.

Bowling

Elco 5, Columbia 2

The Raiders took down Columbia with the help of a 598 series from Joseph Rittle.

Cocalico 5, Northern Lebanon 2

Ambrose Shirk had a big 677 series for the Vikings, but it wasn't enough to keep Cocalico from the victory over NL.

Lampeter-Strasburg 7, Lebanon Catholic 0

Nick Hartman managed a 488 series for Catholic, but the Pionees still notched the shutout.
