Lebanon boys basketball 74, Penn Manor 53
The Cedars stayed unbeaten in their return to Section One, routing the Comets with the aid of 18 points from Dante Vargas.
Luis Aquino-Rios added 14 points for Tim Speraw's club and Shaq Ortiz checked in with 12 points as Lebanon improved to 7-2 overall and 4-0 in Section One, where they remain in sole possession of first place.
Player of the Day
Alex Yeager, Northern Lebanon
Yeager had a career night to lift the Vikings past Pequea Valley, 77-69, exploding for 32 points as Northern Lebanon picked up its second Section 3 win of the season.
Boys Basketball
Cedar Crest 68, Manheim Township 64 (OT)
The Falcons came up with a big OT win in Neffsville to improve to 7-2 overall and 3-1 in Section 1. No details were reported.
Lebanon 74, Penn Manor 53
The Cedars wasted no time in jumping on the Comets, outscoring Penn Manor in the first quarter 19-8 and never looked back. Dante Vargas led Lebanon with 18 points.
Palmyra 63, Red Land 44
The Cougars stayed red-hot behind 17 points from Isaac Blatt. Bryant Willis added 15 points and Sam Sheils checked in with 10.
Northern Lebanon 77, Pequea Valley 69
With the game tied at the half, the Vikings outscored the Braves 19-11 in the third quarter to begin pulling away. NL also was clutch at the charity stripe, finishing 23-of-25, in addition to Yeager's big night.
Lancaster Mennonite 89, Lebanon Catholic 30
The Beavers fell in a 26-4 first quarter hole and things just got worse from there. Kyle Kauffman was a bright spot with 16 points.
West Shore Christian 53, New Covenant 48
The Flames went down to defeat despite 11 points from Dalton Fortna.
Girls Basketball
Northern Lebanon 54, Pequea Valley 33
In Kinzers, the Vikings raced to a 23-3 lead after the first quarter and cruised the rest of the way to improve to 9-1 overall and 3-1 in Section 3.
Megan Brandt led the way for NL with 18 points and Zoe Zerman added 10 points to the victory.
Solanco 63, Lebanon 42
The Cedars remained winless, but got another nice effort from Destiny Infante, who finished with 17 points.
Palmyra 48, Red Land 27
Freshman Annabelle Copeland led three Cougars in double figures with 17 points as Palmyra got the better of the Mid-Penn Keystone matchup.
Olivia Richardson added 13 points for Palmyra and Amelia Baldo chipped in with 12.
Lebanon Catholic 60, Lancaster Mennonite 37
Alexis Hill erupted for 33 points as the Beavers got back on track with an easy win over Mennonite.
Neesha Pierre also hit double figures with 11 points.
West Shore Christian 43, New Covenant 33
The Flames were outscored 20-8 in the fourth quarter en route to the loss. Kylie Murray led the Flames with 17 points.

Hempfield 121, Cedar Crest 49
The Crest boys were beaten for the first time this season, but managed wins from Josh Wildonger (butterfly) and Matthew Moffitt (backstroke).
Girls Swimming
Hempfield 88, Cedar Crest 82
The Falcons endured their first loss of the season in heartbreaking fashion, just edged by perennial power Hempfield.
Caitlyn Gelgot led Cedar Crest with a win in the 50 free, and Camryn Vila took the backstroke.
