MERCERSBURG - St. James held a 30-15 lead over Mercersburg Academy with five bouts left in the Independent Parochial Schools League wrestling championship match Friday.

But the Blue Storm scored the maximum 30 points in those last five matches, including four pins and a forfeit, to earn the IPSL crown.

The early points for Mercersburg (12-7) came on pins by Joseph Yonke (113) and Steve Min (126) and a decision by Brian Nelson (132).

The late rally was powered by pins from Gnim Bazim (170), Brendan Loveng (182), Slater Laird (195) and Stefano Antoniazzi (285).
