CARLISLE - Chambersburg earned victories in 11 of the 14 weight classes Thursday night, and that made for a relatively easy victory over Carlisle.
The Trojans, who won their seventh straight match after an 0-3 start, prevailed 53-18 in a Mid Penn Commonwealth Division wrestling match on the road.
Chambersburg (7-3, 2-3 MPC) picked up pins by Seth Runshaw (106), Greg Wallace (170) and Dalton Grace (195), who returned from being out with an injury.
"Wallace looked dominant," Chambersburg coach Matt Mentzer said. "He had six takedowns before he took him down to his back for the fall."
The Trojans also got bonus points from three forfeit victories and a a pair of major decisions - 13-1 by Garrett Kyner at 138 and 10-0 by Drake Brenize at 145.
Chambersburg also came up with victories in all three of the close bouts. Phillipe Lozius pulled out a 5-3 win in overtime at 285, Spencer Runshaw won 4-0 at 113 and Collin Runshaw earned a 4-2 nod at 152.
Mentzer said, "Phillipe was at heavyweight for the first time and he had a kid who weighed about 260. He was down 3-2, but he escaped with about 10 seconds left to take it to overtime, then he got the takedown.
"Colin won by two, but he had a lot of riding time. Both of the twins (Seth and Spencer Runshaw) looked solid. The kid that Spencer beat (Hunter Coutts) is pretty good and has won a lot of matches."
