Mercersburg Academy knew it was going to have its hands full in a Mid-Atlantic Prep League football game against Peddie.

And the Blue Storm got all they paid for on Saturday afternoon in a 43-14 loss.

E.J. Harris scored both touchdowns and led the offense with 64 yards on 10 carries.

"It just wasn't enough for the Storm to curb a tremendous Peddie offense," Mercersburg coach Dan Walker said.

St. James 2, Forbes Road 1: For the first time this season, Forbes Road dropped two games in a row, this time in a non-league contest against St. James. Kristina Parson had the lone goal of the game for the Cardinals (11-6).

Girls volleyball

Grace 3, Cumb. Valley Christian 0: The season came to an end for Cumberland Valley Christian in the Mason-Dixon Christian Conference consolation game. The Blazers (11-10) got better throughout the day - after scoring just 13 points in the first set, they put up 18 in each of the next two. Hunter Timmons recorded seven kills.
