In the final week of the regular season, Frankln and Fulton teams are gearing up for the playoffs. Don't miss these five things that could make or break postseason hopes.

MONDAY

PIAA Eastern Regional golf tournament, 9 a.m.: Chambersburg's Karsen Rush and Waynesboro's Olivia Gardenhour will represent Franklin County in the PIAA Eastern Regional golf tournament, Monday at Golden Oaks Golf Club in Fleetwood, PA.

Rush has steadily been the area's top male golfer, averaging 72.6, and has only gotten better as the season progressed. He shot his season best - 3-under 69 - during both rounds at the District 3 tournament. He missed out on the Class 3A title by just two strokes.

Gardenhour returns to her second regional PIAA appearance after tying for fourth in District 3 Class 3A. She shot her season-best 74 during her first round, but fell to 81 during her final round of the tournament. She averages 81.9 on the season.

TUESDAY

Mid Penn Conference boys soccer semifinal - Greencastle-Antrim at Lower Dauphin, 7: Greencastle-Antrim did not draw the easy straw to start its postseason journey, taking on the top Mid Penn Keystone team in the conference semifinals Tuesday.

Lower Dauphin (18-0, 12-0 Keystone) holds firm to the regular season Keystone title and is the only undefeated soccer team remaining in the Mid Penn Conference. Lower Dauphin is also the top-ranked team in District 3 Class 3A, while Greencastle is ranked sixth. The Blue Devils (12-5, 10-1 Colonial) are also highlighted at the top of their division, with just one blemish on their divisional record.

The teams have faced off once so far this season when the Falcons handed Greencastle a 4-0 loss during the Lower Dauphin tournament in September. The Blue Devils will need to watch out for Timmy Townsend and Steven Schankweiler, who each had a goal and an assist in the game.

While Greencastle will need to rely on its best attacker, Brandon Stuhler, who leads the team with 12 goals and seven assists, Jared Rohrbaugh will also aid the offense. He has seven goals and two assists.

Greencastle-Antrim girls volleyball at James Buchanan, 6: Although James Buchanan's postseason hopes are virtually out of the picture thanks to a pair of losses last week, the Rockets can still play spoiler to Greencastle's hopes at a district berth.

As of Sunday the Blue Devils are ranked in the final qualifying spot in Class 3A, with important district matchups this week before Thursday's cutoff. Greencastle has Gettysburg (9th in 3A) and James Buchanan (21st in 3A) left on the docket.

This is the first time the teams will meet this season, but both teams boast a talented attack, which could prove to be an interesting rivalry match. Watch out for James Buchanan's Tyana Quivers, who leads the Rocket offense, and Greencastle's Keri Gearhart, who is one of the area's most powerful middle hitters.
