F-F H.S. Highlights: G-A scores OT win in boys soccer

With a goal early in overtime, Greencastle-Antrim’s boys soccer team escaped a non-league game against Cedar Cliff with a 3-2 victory on Saturday afternoon.

Less than a minute into the overtime period, Jared Rohrbaugh found Jason Freeman, who netted the golden goal. The win is the third straight for the Blue Devils (10-4).

Rohrbaugh had the game’s opening goal, as well, scoring with 10 minutes left in the opening half. But Cedar Cliff immediately responded with a late goal of its own.

In the second half, the roles reversed, as the Colts got a goal with 10 minutes remaining. But Luke Herman sent it to overtime with a tally with 4:50 left in regulation; Ian Gelsinger was credited with the game-tying assist.

Greencastle out-shot Cedar Cliff, 11-3, and had a 7-1 advantage in corner kicks.
