Field hockey

Cedar Cliff 4, Chambersburg 0: The Colts took a 3-0 lead by halftime and coasted to the Mid Penn Commonwealth win. Josie Cook led Cedar Cliff with a pair of goals. Ari Burke made nine saves in goal for the Trojans (5-6, 2-6 MPC), who have dropped four of their last five games.

Shippensburg 5, CD East 0: Zoe Holtry found the back of the cage three times to lead the Lady Hounds (6-6, 5-4 MPC) to a Mid Penn Colonial Division victory. She scored two times in the first half and again in the second. Maddie Kline had a goal and an assist, Lexi Alleman scored once and Rachel Kline had an assist. Morgan Ocker needed only save for a shutout.

Girls volleyball

Cumb. Valley Christian 3, Broadfording 2: The Blazers saw a 2-0 lead evaporate against Broadfording, but they pulled themselves together for game 5 and scored a 15-9 win, reversing an earlier 3-2 loss to the Lions. For the Blazers (5-6, 4-6 MDCC), Mackenzie Householder piled up 33 assists and Brianna Miley knocked down 17 kills. Ashley Winters added nine kills and six digs, while Householder also had five aces.
