Cumberland Valley Christian survived a comeback bid by Heritage Academy in a Mason-Dixon Christian Conference girls soccer game to take a 5-3 victory.

The Blazers were ahead 3-0 early in the second half, thanks to two goals by Kaitlin Provard and one by Tori Stouffer. The Eagles got to within 3-2, but a pair of goals by Kyleigh Teal sealed the victory. Bri Miley had two assists for CV Christian (2-1, 2-1 MDCC).

Blazers earn win: In baseball, Austin Garcia pitched 6 2/3 innings to earn the win, surrendering only three hits and striking out two, while Spencer Propst got the final out for a save.

Propst and David Bolich each drove in a run for CV Christian (2-0, 2-0 MDCC) and Garcia was 2-for-3.
