H.S. golf: Mercersburg Academy takes 5th at PAISAA championship

BLUE STORM CLAIMS 5TH >> Mercersburg Academy did not have its best day of the season but still managed to place fifth at the PAISAA Championship held at Chambersburg Country Club on Sunday.

"This was a tough day for us," Blue Storm coach Doug Smith said. "The boys were in good spirits and good form entering the event, and I know they are all deeply disappointed they didn't have their best games. We will keep our heads up and having a great week of practice heading into the inaugural Keystone Cup."

Ruichi Zhou was the low man for the Blue Storm with an 80, followed by Roland Morris with an 85. Posting the third score was Ross Brown with an 88, and Mike DeNunzio shot an 89.
