BOILING SPRINGS 7, JAMES BUCHANAN 1 >> James Buchanan scored the first goal of the Mid Penn Colonial Division game, but it was all Boiling Springs the rest of the way.

Sydney Benedick scored with an assist from Mickey Heinbaugh just 12 minutes into the contest to put the Rockets (9-8, 4-6 MPC) ahead early. But JB couldn't keep up with the Bubblers, who scored seven unanswered goals.

"Well, we didn't play well," JB coach Terry Appleby said. "But the good part of that is we still had great opportunities. We still had those chances even when we didn't think we played well at all. They're a good team, and I know that, so I didn't leave here with a loss of confidence."

Nina Shatzer had a fine effort for the Rockets, stopping 12 shots.
