GIRLS SOCCER: Wednesday's roundup

SHALOM CHRISTIAN 10, HIGHLAND VIEW 0 >> Shalom Christian's girls soccer team dominated Highland View from start to finish in a non-league victory on Tuesday night.

The Flames (10-0) scored five goals in each half, and Tori Yoder led the team with five scores.

"We played a much better game tonight with good communication and ball movement," Shalom coach Peter Holdaway said. "Makenzi Maun finished off the scoring with her first career goal. I thought we controlled play, and our defense held off their attack."

Brooke Poe finished with one goal and one assist, and Brooke Emge finished with three goals. Maun, Stephanie Bricker, Lexy Poe and Sadie Bland all had assists.
