GIRLS SOCCER: Thursday's roundup

SHALOM CHRISTIAN 3, GRACE ACADEMY 0 >> Shalom Christian remained undefeated with a Mason-Dixon Christian Conference shutout of Grace Academy on Thursday night.

The Flames (7-0, 4-0 MDCC) got two goals from Kendall White and another from Tori Yoder. Brooke Poe was credited with two assists.

"Our defensive back four did well, as we were short on defenders due to illness and injury," Shalom coach Pete Holdaway said. "We had to play one of our forwards, Brooke Emge, who did very well, on defense for much of the game. Mackenzie Maun played well in getting the shutout."

Maun had five saves to earn her third shutout of the season.
