SHALOM CHRISTIAN 10, HIGHLAND VIEW 1 >> Shalom Christian scored early and often in a non-league win over Highland View on Tuesday.

The Flames (2-1) jumped out to a 5-0 lead and scored five more goals in the second half. Tori Yoder led Shalom with five goals, and Lexy Poe added three goals and two assists.

Shalom coach Peter Holdaway said, "This was a good game to get every player some time on the field. Highland View was shorthanded, but they played tough the entire game."

Lydia Harris finished with a goal and assist for Shalom, and Sarah Priest also added a score. Bethany Blank, Brooke Poe and Rachel Bricker all had an assist.
